When you come as a couple or family, the relationship is the client. I can help with:
• Reducing Tension
• Stopping the Negative Cycling & Escalating
• Focusing on the Issue at Hand
• Finding a Way for Each of You to Be Truly Heard

• Healing Emotional Wounds so You Can Get Back to Being Yourselves

Components of Gwen’s philosophy that guide her services include:

  • Considering all people from a place of respect
  • Knowing that there are positive intentions behind behaviors
  • Acknowledging the driving forces of biology
  • Accepting the impact of personal history
  • Attending to the power of belief systems
  • And giving the immediacy of current situations the time they need

Additional Experience through my years of private practice counseling includes:

  • Clarifying the dynamics of numerous types of relationships
  • Understanding the process of healing while allowing for the many paths there
  • Persistently working with depression until it lifts or can be handled differently
  • Managing bipolar depression or manic depression while monitoring medications
  • Minimizing uncomfortable feelings, worry, anxiety, multiple anxieties and panic
  • Working toward a higher level of functioning for those with paranoid schizophrenia symptoms
  • Reducing environmental, situational, physical and emotional stresses
  • And simplifying various struggles that can be perplexing

Gwen’s approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.  She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.  With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
